Sparsely populated, Elmore is a town with spectacular views and endless recreational opportunities. The 700-acre Lake Elmore State Park is a popular destination for boaters, fishermen, and windsurfers, as well as hikers and campers. The Elmore Sugarhouse offers seasonal tours.

Elmore, Vermont is located northeast of Stowe. Elmore has a relatively small population and hosts the last one room schoolhouse in the state.
Housing inventory is usually limited due to the small population.
The town is divided by the Worcester Mountain range; the west side of town is adjacent to Stowe and the east side is reached through Morristown. There is easy access to the Interstate and Montpelier from the east side via Route 12.
